Is podcasting an effective tool for improving learning in students with difficulties?

The article "Podcast Didactics in the 8th Grades. A Classroom Experience in the Community of Madrid" explores the use of podcasts as an innovative educational tool in the context of the Learning and Performance Improvement Program (PMAR).

This program, aimed at secondary school students with learning difficulties, seeks to improve their academic performance through a specific methodology that addresses their particular needs.

The study focuses on the use of podcasting in a Secondary Education Institute in the Community of Madrid, with the goal of evaluating its effectiveness in the socio-linguistic field, promoting both cognitive learning and the emotional development of students.

The research adopts a qualitative and participatory approach, in which students not only consume content through podcasts but also actively participate in their creation, promoting a more interactive and collaborative learning experience.

Through this practical experience, the aim is to analyze to what extent the use of podcasts can contribute to motivation and the improvement of communication skills, and whether this innovative resource can be an effective pedagogical strategy to meet the educational needs of PMAR students.
