It is very common to talk about new technologies, digital technologies, ICT,... all of them are the key to understand the world, the society and the education in this century. These digital tools have a technical dimension and also an educational dimension relative to their applications in training contexts and innovative educational experiences.
In this number of the journal we are interested in exploring the applications of these technologies from different approaches: a cultural or social view of their impact in education, a technical approach of advances in the present and the perspective for the future, data from recent researches, or finally some educational experiences and good practices using these advanced technologies. The diversity of digital technologies is a relevant challenge in education, so we want to help readers to better understand the future change in education.
So, our main objective is:
To analyse more advanced and innovative digital technologies, making an approach to their educational applications, their future potential and their social impact.
The main issues are:
- Artificial Intelligence;
- Robotic and Computational Thinking;
- Extended Reality;
- Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
